This collection gathers CBD topicals from many brands: products made to be applied to the skin rather than eaten or inhaled. Each product lists its labeled CBD content and container size.
Types of CBD topicals
- Balms and salves: thick, oil- and wax-based products, in jars or sticks.
- Creams and lotions: water-based, lighter-textured, often in pumps or tubes.
- Roll-ons and gels: often with menthol for a cooling feel, or with heating ingredients; some combine both.
- Skin care: face serums, face oils, day and night creams and beard oil.
- Patches: adhesive patches labeled with mg per patch.
- Massage oils, body sprays and bath products.
Ingredients to look for
Many CBD topicals pair CBD with other ingredients such as menthol, arnica, capsaicin, peppermint, lavender or eucalyptus. Some add other cannabinoids such as CBG or CBN, named in the title. Topicals also come in full spectrum, broad spectrum and isolate versions; broad spectrum extract keeps other cannabinoids and terpenes but has the THC removed to non-detectable levels.
How to compare CBD topicals
- Compare total mg against container size (oz or mL) to see concentration.
- Choose the format: balm, cream, roll-on, gel or patch.
- Read the full ingredient list for scent and cooling or heating agents.
- Match the lab report batch number to the product.
