What is the difference between CBD oil and a CBD tincture?
For most products sold today, there is none. Both are CBD extract in a carrier oil (usually MCT/coconut oil, sometimes hemp seed or olive oil) in a dropper bottle. A traditional tincture is an alcohol-based extract, but few CBD brands sell those, and the brands we track use the two names for the same product. That is why this page lists both.
How much does CBD oil cost?
Across the nearly 600 current CBD oils and tinctures we list, the median price is about 7 cents per mg of CBD, so a typical 1,000mg bottle costs around $65 to $70. The median starting price per product is $42.99. Bigger bottles cost much less per mg:

Full spectrum, broad spectrum or isolate: which CBD oils contain THC?
Full spectrum oils keep the hemp plant's other cannabinoids, including a small amount of delta-9 THC (labeled at no more than 0.3%). Broad spectrum oils keep other cannabinoids but are processed to remove THC. Isolate oils contain CBD alone and are sold as THC-free. Of the oils listed here, 290 are full spectrum, 193 are broad spectrum and 57 are isolate or THC-free.
Can CBD oil show up on a drug test?
It can. Drug tests look for THC, not CBD, and full spectrum oils contain trace THC that can be detected, especially with regular use. Broad spectrum and isolate oils carry less risk but are not risk-free, because lab results do not always match the label. When a brand's own lab report differs from its label, our product page shows the measured values next to the label claims. How do you take a CBD tincture?
Most people place drops under the tongue and hold them briefly before swallowing, or mix them into food or a drink. Strength per dropper varies a lot between bottles, so compare mg per ml (bottle mg divided by bottle ml) rather than bottle mg alone. Follow the serving size on the label, and ask a doctor first if you take other medications.

How are prices listed?
Each product page lists every store we track that sells that exact product, such as the brand's own store and CBD.co, with the lowest price first. If a price needs a coupon code, the code is shown with it. Each page shows when its prices were last checked, and hosts the brand's lab report where one is published.
